The Martins Live In-Concert
Join us for a special evening with siblings Joyce, Jonathan and Judy, collectively known as The Martins, live in-concert on Friday, July 31 at 7 PM here at Pitts Baptist Church!
The Martins have enjoyed countless radio hits and performances at concert halls, arenas, auditoriums and churches worldwide. During the 1990s, the Martins rose to national and international success, showcasing their stunning and distinctive harmonies before a vast array of audiences, from legendary singer/songwriter Bill Gaither's multi-award winning Homecoming Video and Concert Series to the White House to Carnegie Hall. Over the years, the Trio has garnered eight Dove Awards from the Gospel Music Association, as well as a prestigious Grammy nomination.

Join us for this year's Serve NC projects! We will be helping out our community partners at Pitts School Road and Carl Furr Elementary Schools. We'll be helping with some landscaping needs before their school year gets started. Meet here at the church on Saturday, August 8, at 8:00am for breakfast and a devotion before we head out to serve. Shining a Light on Who Jesus Really Is
Bring your kids to Illumination Station VBS for the brightest week of the year! While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are in the dark about who He really is. Some might see Jesus as just a person from history, a good man, or a wise teacher but He is much more than that.
At Illumination Station VBS, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus’ important question to His disciples, "Who do you say that I am?" As they explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals, kids will discover that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world.
Jesus spoke to them again: "I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life." John 8:12
VBS is June 15-19, 2026, 6:30 pm-8:30 pm for age 4 (by May 31, 2026) through completed 7th grade. (Classes for babies-3 year olds are available for volunteers only.)
VBS is free of charge BUT registration is required!

Youth Mission Trip to Alaska – May 30–June 6
This summer, our youth will travel to Alaska to serve, encourage, and share Christ in a unique and challenging mission field. Throughout the week, students will partner with local ministries and churches, engage in hands-on service projects, and build meaningful relationships with people in the community. Along the way, they’ll be stretched outside their comfort zones, grow in their faith, and learn what it means to live on mission—wherever God sends them.
